Walmart. Toys R Us, Macy’s and Target are just some of the big name stores that will start their holiday sales on Thanksgiving night.
According to The LA Times “analysts say it has reached a tipping point this season, with Thursday night poised to upend Friday morning as the official holiday kickoff.” Talk about Corporations getting greedy.
What do the employees think of this “trend?”
Employees at both Best Buy and Target have created online petitions at Change.org urging their companies to open later so workers can “break bread with loved ones” (latimes.com).
Tomorrow, let’s give thanks that we are able to have a meal with our family in peace, while we still have the holiday.

there are campers outside of bestbuy here, that have been waiting in line for 3 days. thats a long time. Be safe to those participating in black friday.
That is so true. The poor workers have to get up so early when they have stayed up enjoying their time with their families.
