Poetry Event Poesý 20/10 2nd Edition

Press Release

“The smell of ink is intoxicating to me – others may have wine, but I have poetry. ~Terri Guillemets”

Poesý 20/10 celebrates the essence of life that flows and feels through poetry. That which emerges from the souls of beings known throughout the ages as poets. It is they who, with their singular voices, come together to celebrate an art that is part of their being. It feeds them, it is also a language like no other, because “poetry is when the emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words” (Robert Frost). It was expected that poetry would transcended the parameters of time and evolved to fit all human change, and so it has transported itself into a virtual world such as blogs. It is there where it has found a new home, a platform in young and adult voices. This is why Mink celebrates and praises it with its second edition of Poesý 20/10.

Come join us poetry lovers from August 6-15, special guests poets from the first edition of Poesý will open on August 6. Also, author Alexandra Román invites you to join her from August 3-5 for a three day celebration of her blogs Third Anniversary where she will be having some giveaways to her followers.
