As we celebrate Pa’lante’s one year anniversary, we reflect on all the positive and, yes, negative feedback that have influenced our decisions as well as defined our page content. Although at times, we have been dismissed and mocked by folks once regarded as respectful peers, we did not let negativity distract us from our main goal of writing, informing, educating and spreading the word about any current or past events relevant to our community. We wanted to think outside the box and incorporate ourselves into the U.S. rather than exclude our contributions, past or present, to this country.
To all our friends, fans, websites and organizations that continue to believe in us and have supported us since the beginning, we cannot thank you enough. We hope to be able to return, in some shape or form, the unconditional support received.

We are proud to still be standing. As such we pledge to continue to pound harder, advocate and represent without any other expectation than to bring us together, wherever possible. Although we all hail from different backgrounds, practice different religions, follow different political ideologies we cannot forget our common link that is our Hispanic/Latino/African/Amerindian heritage. At Pa’lante, there are no egos, hierarchies or pecking orders, only the spirit of giving back.
For us, the only way is FORWARD!
